Congratulations to Hemel Hempstead FC for their 2-1 win against Havant and Waterlooville, with a great performance from Howells and Ashford. Wealdstone too, had great success against Chelmsford City, with an away win of 3-1. Both Hendon Football Club and Hayes and Yeading Football Club suffered defeats this weekend. However, might Merthyr Town had a second win on the trot against Blackfield and Langley 2-0.
In the Rugby World Cup, Wales had a resounding win against Uruguay and now through to face France on Sunday 20 October. England is set to play Australia on the 19 October.
Big Congratulations to Saracens for sealing their progression to the semi-finals of the premiership rugby cup, with a 28-1 win over Harlequins.
