Work hard, play hard. That’s our motto.
Here at MET Coaches, we plan on putting that to practice this weekend as we take a trip to the Allianz Park. Having just won the European Rugby Union championship, we’re hoping to continue our spectacular run of form and beat Leicester tigers at home on the weekend.
For those who aren’t so clued up on the world of Rugby and our beloved Saracens, here’s some interesting facts on our team and the reason we’re heading to the Allianz in celebration of the European Championship victory.
– Winning the European Championship final made us the first English champions of Europe since Wasps 9 years ago (currently 3rd in the premiership).
– Neither Saracens or our opponents had been crowned champions before
– Since the European cup went to home and away fixtures in 1997, no club had won the title with a 100% record from 9 games. Saracens winning broke that deadlock.
We’ve broken records, defied the odds and became recognised as the best in Europe. A triumph that we feel we can relate to on a much smaller scale. If you work hard, show dedication and master your craft, you will succeed. Here at MET Coaches, we pride ourselves on being champions in our sector and as a result, we support and sponsor champions alike. There’s no such thing as impossible and we strive to encourage people to be excellent.
