Things to do in December 2016!

December, the final month of the year. With festive spirit climaxes at its peak on the 25th, everyone wants to do something special for other people. This is when we see company directors taking their employees out for a special Christmas do, sports clubs across London organising a few friendly matches, school children participating in field trips, and care home managers organising festive outings for their residents.

The party goes on till 2nd of January.

A Memorable Day (or Night) Out

• Hyde Park Winter Wonderland – celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Winter Wonderland adds 3 new shows making it a truly spectacular world of Christmas this winter. Visitors can ice-skate, take the giant observation wheel and soar 60m above Hyde Park, eat and drink merrily, buy Christmas gifts, and of course, watch the new Magical Ice Kingdom, The Nutcracker on Ice and the Sooty Christmas shows. This part of London is very congested, and with Transport for London exercising crowd management at the two nearest tube stations, it is likely that you are required to walk from other stations further along. So hire a minibus or a coach from us. We take your group there and everyone arrives at the same time. We also pick you up and send you home safely.
• Christmas films at BFI Southbank – the British Film Institute’s Southbank home has a wide selection of Christmas film screenings (from cult to classic). You can watch Bad Santa, A Christmas Carol (aka Scrooge), Meet Me in St Louis, among others. After the show, walk across to the Southbank Centre Winter Festival to make it a truly memorable day out. This year, the Rekorderlig Cider Lodge with cider cocktails made to order is definitely a highlight. With us taking care of your transport, you and your group can drink and be merry.
• Hogwarts in the Snow – everyone loves Harry Potter and we love taking groups to the studio in South Herts! Come to experience Hogwarts in the Snow, see how they make snow that never melts and how flames are created without fire, among others. Our office is based in South Hertfordshire so we know the area really well. Book a minibus or a coach, let us take you and your group to the warner Bros Studio and back safely.
