Being a welsh man, through and through, our company director is no doubt a Welsh supporter and a proud one at that. Having said that, the success of his company has been largely impacted by the English and his place of residence is England too. If Wales were to play England (tomorrow at 2pm GMT if you’re interested) Peter would definitely be supporting England. In any other game, Peter would always hope that England would win. With Wales coming off the back of an excellent win and England, a very poor draw, we thought we’d write a piece ahead of tomorrow’s game to add to the excitement.
Historically, England have always been the better side. England have won 66 of the 101 games played, Wales have won 21 and there’s been 14 draws. Despite these statistics, Wales have a very strong side and in a competition where the odds are stacked against them in many matches, the fixture against England will be won they’re hoping to win.
Earlier, we touched on Peter’s metaphorical dual nationality. A true Welshman that resides in England and has many English clients and friends. All said and done, Peter is a Welshman and would declare himself a Welshman. In some cases, though, 9 in this instance, there are individuals that are English born but proudly wear the Welsh shirt and call Wales their country. The Welsh team has 9 English born players that proudly represent Wales:
