MET Coaches believes in celebrating the successes of everyone in the team, particularly the dedicated sports men and women whom we dearly support. This week, we’re delighted to celebrate three significant achievements:
Saracens Rugby Club
A big well done to Saracens who won the Europeans Champions Cup on Saturday! These back-to-back Cup winners did an impressive job this year and their win over Clermont in the finals was absolutely fantastic. You can read more about it here.
Charlotte Carey
Our young table tennis star Charlotte Carey won this year’s Confucius Cup again in Dublin. With just 2 weeks until the World Championships, she is working hard in practice sessions to come home with another win. Congratulations Charlotte, and all the best in the Champs!
Sam Eggington
Sam Eggington, the boxer from Birmingham and that latest to join team MET won his fight on Saturday. Sam had an amazing bout with Ceferino Rodriguez in the ring. In the 10th round, Sam won by knockout with his overwhelming strength and power, making him the European Welterweight Champion. We look forward to his next major win.
