Being a Watford based business for over 15 years and having staff from the local area, it’s only natural for us to support the mighty Hornets. It’s been a brilliant couple of years for Watford: we’ve been promoted to the Premier League, signed some big players to help us along the way in the top flight, seen the likes of Troy Deeney & Odion Ighalo come into their stride (bagging some huge goals this season) and grabbed points from the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle & Chelsea.
As Watford fans, we’re well aware that with such success we’d be both unrealistic and ungrateful to ask for much more from The Golden Boys, or are we? Just when we thought it couldn’t get much better, the yellow army have marched their way to the Europe’s 2nd largest football stadium. Wembley stadium, one of the world’s most famous venues, has played host to some of the biggest moments in football history and to put this achievement into context, it’s just 300 seats short of being able to host the entirety of Watford’s population.
Muhammad Ali, Evel Knieval, Michael Jackson & The Rolling Stones are some of many internationally famous individuals that have had the honour of performing at Wembley Stadium. In addition to this, Wembley way has seen England win the world cup in 1966 and the Olympics in 1948. Fast forward to 2016 and the revamped stadium looks to host Coldplay, Rihanna, The Challenge Cup Final, Beyonce, The Emirates Cup, Euro 2016 action and even American Football but there’s one date that will stand out for us. On the 23rd or 24th of April our boys will walk out in front of 90,000 football fans and represent Watford in the FA Cup Semi-Final.
To celebrate this triumph, we’re not just attending to cheer on our boys in yellow, we’re offering cheap coach travel to and from the game too. It’s not every day that you’re able to see your boyhood club play in such a prestigious tournament in an equally prestigious stadium, so we’re celebrating. If you’re heading to the game, jump in one of our coaches and join the fun for an unbeatable price. We’re providing transportation for all Watford residents for just £12. We’re not selling one way tickets, there’s not a 3am meet to leave & the coaches aren’t plagued with bacteria… There’s honestly no catch, we promise. We’re inviting you to enjoy one of Watford FC’s biggest moments in recent history with a coach company that has followed them for over 15 years. We look forward to cheering the boys in yellow & hopefully seeing them reach the finals. UP THE HORNETS!
